PWC-SME-9: EIC Accelerator Project Writing Camp for SMEs

We have the honor to invite you to the 9^th Project Writing Camp for SMEs titled “Your first step to become a unicorn - Submitting a Short Application for EIC Accelerator”. The event will be held at Holiday Inn Kavaklıdere Hotel, Ankara on May 8, 2023, commencing with registration at 09:30 and ending at 17:00.

The current event is aimed at prospective applicants who are considering Short Application (re)submission for EIC Accelerator program under Horizon Europe. Starting with an Opening Speech by the TÜBİTAK representative, Turkish National Contact Point, the speakers include Mr. Odysseas Spyroglou, Dr. Nikolaos Floratos, and Mr. Serkan Bolat.

Our morning agenda focuses on EIC Accelerator program requirements, best practices, evaluator perspective, and the creation of a compelling Short Application consisting of an online questionnaire, a Pitch Deck, and a Pitch Video. The afternoon session of the event is dedicated to 3 breakout sessions where one of the speakers shares his experience and answers audience questions in an interactive group setting in the meeting room whereas the other two speakers have one-to-one consultations with applicant individuals/teams outside the meeting room. The aim is to provide actionable advice based on the specific needs of the prospective applicants.

To enable the most useful training and consultation, all attendees are asked to send their draft (or submitted) Short Application, 10-slide Pitch Deck, a web link to a 3-minute Pitch Video, and the Evaluation Report if received from the EIC. If your preparations are at an earlier stage, please share as much information as possible, i.e., your company website address and project summary. The information sent will be used to tailor the training and give thoughtful feedback to the attendees. Türkiye in Horizon 2020 Phase II Project rules will apply to maintain the confidentiality of the information exchanged between the attendees and the speakers. One-to-one consultations during the breakout sessions are optional but highly recommended. In your e-mail to Mr. Serkan Bolat, you may specify your consultancy need and willingness to meet with a particular speaker. Depending on the demand and time limit, the best effort will be shown to accommodate all needs including requests to meet with multiple speakers and to discuss relevant matters other than Short Applications.
