FGT 23 - Focus Group Training on Horizon Europe – Twinning

Focus Group Training with title “How to be successful in Horizon Europe Twinning Calls” organized by TÜBİTAK, under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase II” Technical Assistance Project co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Türkiye and implemented by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors Programme.

The 2-day Focus Group Training focuses on supporting individuals to develop successful proposals in Twinning calls under Widening in the Horizon Europe Programme and it took place as a hybrid event in Radisson Blu Hotel, Istanbul Sisli, on May 11 & 12 2023. 

The event is targeting researchers interested in applying as a coordinator in the Twinning call and will be focusing on the following objectives:

• Familiarization with lump sum in general and in the Twinning call;
• Familiarization with the idea behind HORIZON-WIDERA-2023-ACCESS-02 Calls;
• Support on how to deal with the Excellence, Impact and Implementation Criteria in a Twinning Proposal;
• Experience sharing with successful Twinning coordinators;  
• Hands-on practice – integrating the lessons learned from the FGT event to the project ideas.
