Legal Signatories (LSIGNs) are persons who are authorised, on behalf of their organisation, to sign grant agreements, amendments and declarations of honour in H2020 projects.
Financial Signatories (FSIGNs) are persons who are authorised, on behalf of their organisation, to sign financial statements in H2020 projects.
The Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR), (or the Account Administrator/s) of the organisation may assign the FSIGN and LSIGN roles to as many persons in the organisation as necessary. These are organisation-basis roles and not project-basis.
Therefore, assignments of LSIGN and FSIGN roles are not sufficient to sign specific project documents like (Grant Agreements and Financial Statements). The FSIGN and LSIGN must be linked to a particular project (becoming a PFSIGN and PLSIGN) in order to sign the Legal and financial documents for that project. Linking of the FSIGNs & LSIGNs to a project can be done by the Coordinator Contacts (CoCo) or Participant Contacts (PaCo).
You can see the roles and access rights of the Participant Portal here.
To do that you have to go to My Area > My Projects > Click on a project name > Consortium > Find your organisation > Click Roles > Select a person or ADD and the following screen will appear.
You can view the actions, step by step here.
