PIC number or Participant Identification Code is a unique 9-digit identifier for the European Commission to confirm your organisations details.
It is necessary if you want to participate to any Horizon 2020 proposal. You can get a PIC number, if you register your organisation to the system through the process we described here.
REMEMBER:
- First you will need to register with ECAS via the Unique Registration Facility (URF).
- Before registering your organisation, check if it exists in the system here.
- Your PIC code can be used 48 hours after the registration process.
