The basic legal documents of Horizon 2020 projects are the Grant Agreement signed between the consortium and the EU or the agency responsible and the Consortium Agreement between the members of a consortium.
The Grant Agreement can slightly differ depending on the particular funding scheme. The EC has created a very useful Annotated Grant Agreement to help participant understand the document. This document can be found below.
The full list of Model Grant Agreements can be downloaded from the participant portal under the Grant agreements, contracts and rules of contest section.
The consortium agreement is signed between all partners of a consortium. At the moment there are available at least 3 model consortium agreements, templates that can be used based on your needs.
Lately the most popular Consortium Agreement used is the DESCA model which can be found here: http://www.desca-2020.eu.
More detailed explanation on Consortium Agreements can be found in our Comprehensive IPR Guide.
Before you start preparing your Consortium Agreement you can go through the detailed Guide below.
Make sure you check if these are the latest versions in Participant Portal and DESCA web site.
