Webinar - Questions and Answers Relating to Accelerator Proposal Submission

Overview

Jointly funded by the Turkish Government and The European Union, the ‘Turkey in Horizon 2020’ project offers a wide range of support for small and medium businesses in Turkey. The support includes partnering and networking events, a wide range of training courses and assistance with developing proposals and presentations. 

As part of this programme, we are pleased to announce the fifth in a series of free webinars for small businesses who want to find out more about the support and funding available under the European Commission’s ‘Accelerator’ (SME Instrument) programme. The webinar is entitled “Questions and Answers Relating to Accelerator Proposal Submission”. It is intended primarily for SME which intend bidding under the EC Accelerator cut-off on 7^th October, 2020, but it will also be of general interest to those interested in applying for Accelerator funding. The seminar will be broadcast live using ‘Zoom’ software on 28^th September 2020, starting at 10.00 and finishing approximately 2 hours later.

The webinar will consist of short presentations by national and international experts covering EC requirements, Turkish experience and evaluator interpretation of the 3 key elements of an Accelerator proposal; IMPACT; EXCELLENCE and IMPLEMENTATION. The event will also cover the requirements for Annex content and good practice in preparing Pitch Deck presentations. The main purpose of the event is for SMEs to raise questions under these headings so that the panel of experts can help by providing answers during transmission.
