The Focus Group Training on Clean Sky was a 2-day workshop event focusing on H2020 Clean Sky initiative. It took place in Istanbul on the 21-22 May 2019. Below you can find the agenda of the event and all presentations given.

- Familiarisation with key documents for preparing successful Clean Sky proposals (Presentation and QA session)
- Introduction to the training and to the Clean Sky calls
- Session 2: Engaging with key actors in Clean Sky
Who are the key actors in Clean Sky and how to engage with them - Session 3: How to impress the evaluators
Familiarisation with Evaluation Process and what makes a winning proposal (tips and tricks based on evaluators comments) - Session 4: Writing Successful Proposals in Clean Sky calls
- How to write part per part the EXCELLENCE section in an Clean Sky grant application with emphasis on examples from winning projects
- How to write part per part the IMPACT section in an Clean Sky grant application with emphasis on examples from winning projects
- How to write part per part the IMPLEMENTATION section in an Clean Sky grant application with emphasis on examples from winning projects
- Participants will form groups and select any of the following:
- Develop an idea aligned with a Clean Sky call topic
- Prepare/Finalise an action plan for contacting key players for a specific Clean Sky call-topic
- Develop/Finalise a pitching email for selling their expertise to key actors in Clean Sky
- Develop a proposal concept (summary)
- Prepare any subsection based on the grant application template and their familiarisation with the three sections in the proposal template (Excellence, Impact, Implementation)
