This is the dedicated page for our Focus Group Training on Horizon Europe – Digital & Industry: Robotics, AI & Graphene-related topics.
The event takes place on 18-19 July 2022 in İstanbul under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase II” Technical Assistance Project.
We would like to announce that a Focus Group Training (Hybrid 2-day Event) on Horizon Europe Digital & Industry call topics will be organised by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase II” Technical Assistance Project which is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Turkey and implemented by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors Programme. The event will be held on July 18-19, 2022 at Hilton Kozyatağı Hotel İstanbul.
The event is a very intense two-day workshop targeting potential participants in Horizon Europe Framework Programme with little or no experience, as well as more experienced researchers that would like to learn about the new Horizon Europe 2022 calls of Cluster 4 on ‘Digital, Industry & Space’ and particularly the topics related to robotics, AI & graphene.
The event focuses on the calls HORIZON-CL4-2022-DIGITAL-EMERGING-02’, HORIZON-CL4-2022-DIGITAL-EMERGING-02, and HORIZON-CL4-2022-HUMAN-02 of the Work Programme for ‘Digital, Industry & Space’, aiming (i) to promote an open strategic autonomy by leading the development of key digital, enabling and emerging technologies, sectors and value chains; (ii) to make Europe the first digitally led circular, climate-neutral and sustainable economy; and (iii) to create a more resilient, inclusive and democratic European society.
In the first day, we will present the big picture of the calls, providing also insights into the context, vision, objectives, and expected impacts for the AI, Data & Robotics Partnership and the Graphene Flagship. The thematic experts as well as speakers from the Robotics Partnership and Graphene Flagship will offer a closer look at the implementation aspects and elaborate on the abovementioned open Calls for 2022. We will also offer the opportunity for sharing first-hand experiences from the participation of Turkish applicants who have been involved successfully in previous relevant H2020 topics as coordinators and/or partners. The 1st day will conclude with a discussion, while questions and clarifications received from the participants will be answered. The second day of the event will be dedicated to highly interactive sessions involving team working and one-to-one mentoring to potential applicants.
The sessions are structured in such a way to help participants grasp the fundamental concepts and offer an enhanced opportunity to shed light on practical aspects, helping them winning from the experience and extensive know-how of the experts. The content is enriched with presentations, training notes, curated literature from the EU, and useful templates.
